People Park Food Center China Stall Noodle Foodhunt during CNY

For the last couple months I have been frequently coming to Chinatown for having my dinner, I know there are variety of food for me to explore, so here I came...And since I visited here was during Chinese New year, this place is super crowded, it was decorated with a giant roaster to welcome the year of roaster.

At first, I came to People's Park food center, I was in surprise that there are numerous of food stalls that running business by the owner who came from China, and apparently they are all selling authentic Chinese food from China. for instance, authentic Szechuan food, Xi'an food, or northern China food and so on. I'm overwhelmed and love to try them out, each of them.
Firstly I would love to try the noodle; speaking of noodle, China is an expert of noodle, which could be outmatch that compare to Italian's pasta and spaghetti, and Japanese's udon and soba. Firstly, one of the noodle caught my eye because of the name, Biang Biang Mian (Biang Biang 面). It was a flat wide noodle, it was dry, mix with hot chili oil and cooked tomato gravy, it doesn't come with any meat, but a lot of beansprout. Hmm... its taste was kinda weird, it doesn't have a strong taste character of the favorite, not very spicy because the tomato gravy, not too sour because of the chili oil... I ca't say I like it, but it was a good try.
Next is the well-known Zha Jiang Mian (炸酱麵). the springy noodle was chewy and comfortable in my mouth. the sauce is savory tasted and comfy, not too much or too less, the mince pork was little bit over salty when I just eat it, but it goes well with the noodle when I mixed it; the shredded cucumber was very refreshing and ease the grease.
Goat noodle soup (羊肉烩麵), was very suitable for winter. The white flat noodle in a bowl of hot soup, and the goat meat was cooked until soft and flavorful. Simple but comfy.
The noodle is Numb and Spicy noodle,(麻辣麵) indeed, when you heard the name of numb and spicy, it has a very strong flavor. I used a lot of napkins to finish this noodle, it contains plenty of spices, not only it was spicy, you can taste the fragrant and the whole body of the soup, and besides, my tongue went numb after eating this. it was like torturing myself but I still enjoy it very much.
Dumpling, (饺子)during Chinese New year, specially for the northen China, it was a must eat food for them, which representing wealth and harvesting upcoming year, an indeed auspicious food during new year.
Ma La Xiang Guo, (麻辣香锅)its mixed of ingredient that stirred fried with hot and spicy sauce, which is similar to numb and spicy sauce but in dry version. you can select different kinds of ingredient to customize your order such as cabbage, broccoli, bakchoy, mushroom etc, and for the meat option, there are sliced chicken, pork, beef and mutton, and also some processed meat such as sausage and luncheon meat; you just tell the them what you need they will get it for you one by one, it doesn't similar to other place, where you get it by yourself and they charge you how much from the weight. compare to the other, I prefer here that they won't over charge you. And it was always form a long queue in front of the stall among all of the other stall, but it was worth to wait, you may ask for a bowl of rice to go with it.
There are still plenty of food for me to dig out in Chinatown. well, I will pay more visit for food hunting next time. peace
